Sapphire Celebration

It's been my birthday for about an hour now according to Eastern Standard Time, and I needed to update the blog, so I thought it would be fitting to take a look at this months birthstone. 

SAPPHIRE

Sapphires have been prized for centuries as truly sacred and valuable stones. Sapphires have been worn in jewelry fit for royals and lovers of luxury alike as symbols of truth, loyalty, nobility, and faithfulness. It's rich coloring remains the standard in blue gemstones to date. 

Let's take a little journey through the ages and have a look at some of the worlds biggest and most famous sapphires.
