The Story In The Music Note
The jewel that I'm about to tell you about was really special for us to make...
A client brought us the gemstones pictured above. She shared that the stones were collected by her late son and that she would like a pendant made using them. Not set on any particular design, we spent a little time going over some options and exploring possibilities. It was not until a few days later that I received an email from her suggesting the treble clef. Her son was a musician, so it seemed like a fitting symbol to commemorate.
I wasn't sure how I was going to make it all work together, but I was up for the challenge.....
I played around with placement for a bit, before deciding on this arrangement. And then it was it was off to the chopping block!
The Whittle Master got to work with his magic, bringing my sketch to life in sterling silver. It's so exciting to watch the process of reshaping raw materials into something completely different. I think it's fun for our clients when they get to see their jewels transform through all its stages as well.

I actually got to hand deliver this piece which was great. Seeing the joy that this pendant brought to our client really made my whole week. Designing and creating things that hold so much sentimental value is something that we take as an honor.
