In October of 2015 the Gem Steady team experienced a life altering event when the man behind the jewels, Robert (aka The Whittle Master) was hit by a distracted driver while riding his motorcycle. This event inspired the creation of THINK bracelets in an effort to spread awareness about the importance of putting down distractions while behind the wheel, and to THINK and drive.

The Whittle Master has since made a full recovery, and we continue to feel passionately about spreading the importance of nixing distractions while driving.
